Here we share the talk that Adriana Duelo, nutritionist and dietician, and the Dr. Ismael San Mauro gave on 14 March in the International<\/strong>\u00a0Pharma Congress INFARMA 2018<\/strong> (Madrid), in which\u00a0addressed the dietary treatment of the <\/span>histaminosis caused by DAO deficiency<\/a>. They talked about the importance of properly treat the <\/span>excess of histamine<\/a>, both <\/span>exogenous<\/a> (from food) as the <\/span>endogenous<\/a> (from body).<\/span><\/p>\n

DAO deficiency<\/a> plays a fundamental role in this accumulation, but there are also other factors that facilitate the <\/span>increase of histamine<\/a> as stress, the growth of some microorganisms and the <\/span>consumption of certain drugs<\/a>, among others.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
